Maryborough Nursing Home
Carechoice purchased the property in 2000 investing a state of the art facilities while also managing to retain as much of the building’s old-world charm as possible. Their ethos, nurtured by the Christian tradition of love and care, is to create a home-like environment where all residents feel safe, secure and supported. St. Luke’s believe that each resident, a child of God, is uniquely precious and important. Ministers of all religions attend the nursing home on a regular basis. Communion is given every Sunday to Catholic residents and mass is once a month.
Coral Haven Nursing Home Located over three floors, we have 52 single en-suite bedrooms including 4 double en-suite bedrooms. Each floor has a separate Day Room, Dining Room, and Care Station. Coral Haven also has an Activities Room, Main Kitchen, Hairdressing Salon, Laundry Room, and an Oratory. We accommodate both female and male residents primarily over 65 years of age with the following care needs, General Care, Respite Care, Dementia Special Care, and Palliative Care.

There are telephone points in all rooms and private telephones can be installed, please ask management if you would like to arrange this. There is a portable phone at reception in the entrance hall available for all residents and visitors. The particular supports provided to each person will depend on the needs that are identified during the assessment which is undertaken by a HSE health professional generally a public health nurse.
The Home Help Service supports the assessed needs of vulnerable people in the community who through illness or disability are in need of help with day to day tasks. Vipin joined Maryborough Nursing Home in September 2020 as Director of Nursing. He has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing which he completed in India in 2009. He continued his education in Ireland where he obtained a Masters in Nursing from University College Cork in 2014.
Our Activities team lead this survey and assist residents with completing it if they need some help. We receive invaluable feedback from these surveys and give each resident a platform to have their voices heard on all aspects of living with us. Our residential care provides 24/7 care for a variety of different needs.
